    The first race of the 2009 BVI Mountain Bike Club Championships takes place Sunday 8th
    March. De Loose Mongoose Cross Country race will start at 8am at Trellis Bay.

    The course is nearly all flat and covers paved and dirt sections. The full course is 1.9
    miles long, and expert riders will complete 15 Laps, whilst Intermediate & Juniors cover
    10 laps and social 5 Laps.

    There is a shorter course for Cadet riders (age 8-12) of about 1 mile. Cadets will
    complete 3 laps of this shorter course.

    Entry fees will be $10 and will include breakfast. Registration will begin at 7.30am at De
    Loose Mongoose.

    Membership dues will be payable during registration and after the race. Membership
    dues for 2009 are $40, however this years Cadet (8-12) membership is free and juniors
    13-18 are $20.
